Bradley W. Miller, age 51, of Ripon, left his earthly life unexpectedly on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
Brad was born on April 4, 1958, in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of Marvin and Loretta (Albrecht) Miller. He graduated from Ripon Public Schools in 1976. On September 26, 1981, Brad married Susan Wiese of Rosendale. He was a lifetime member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, but attended church regularly with his wife at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Brad pursued his love of farming and worked the family farm, until he became a bindery operator at Ripon Printers in 1997. He continued to grow crops with his brother, Brent. The fields will surely be missing his presence come springtime. Brad enjoyed a good round of golf, hunting, bowling, and shooting pool, participating in many leagues and tournaments around Fond du Lac County. He could also make a mean gimlet and would share his passion for Elvis by giving an impromptu impersonation upon much coaxing. Brad will be greatly missed by many friends as well as his family.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; daughter, Nicole (Shaun) Toombs; three grandchildren, Izaac, Mackenzie, and Kamryn; mother, Loretta Miller; two brothers, Bruce (Cheryl) Miller and Brent Miller all of Ripon; one sister, Bonnie (Larry) Gensch of West Salem, WI; mother-in-law, Regina Wiese of Ripon; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hoch, and Laurie (Steve) Prink both of Rosendale, Lisa (Paul) Schwertfeger of Ripon and Amy Wiese of Oshkosh; brothers-in-law, William (Tammy) Wiese of Rosendale and James (Tammy) Wiese of Oakfield; nieces and nephews and KC (a.k.a Schmoo) his cat. Brad is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Miller and father-in-law, Morris Wiese.
Visitation for Bradley W. Miller will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Ledgeview Memorial Park and Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Empire, Fond du Lac.
Funeral Service for Bradley W. Miller will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Ledgeview Memorial Park and Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy 23 East of Fond du Lac right on Hwy K, with Reverend Charles R. Thompson officiating. Entombment will be held in Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum, Fond du Lac. A memorial has been established.
