Byron F. Lange, fell asleep in Jesus on July 30, 1995, in Naples, FL.
Born in Waukesha, WI on April 10, 1903, to Louis and Augusta (Blesser) Lange, he was the beloved husband of Clara M. (Witt) Lange whom he married on October 10, 1929, in White Lake, South Dakota. Byron was raised in Beaver Dam and attended Northwestern University in Watertown. He was an insurance agent in Milwaukee for forty years before retiring to the Montello-Green Lake area. Throughout his life, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of several sporting and business associations. Devoted to the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, he was involved in several offices and organizations, serving the Lord.
Byron was the loving father of Judith (John) Avery of Green Lake, WI, Sandra (Jack) Tills of Portage, WI and Bonnie (Brian) Heidel of Naples, FL. He was cherished by sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law, Frieda Lange of Stockton, CA, cousin, Viola Loeck of Beaver Dam, WI and many nieces and nephews.
We invite you to join us in the celebration of his new life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 11 am at Messiah Lutheran Church on Messiah Lutheran Church on Mayparty Dr. in Ripon, WI.
Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 am at the church with the Reverend Bryan Fritsch and Reverend Martin Goldberg officiating.
Burial will be in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, WI. A memorial to Messiah Lutheran Church Debt Fund has been established.
