Carl E. Barclay, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, October 28, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Carl was born December 20, 1894, in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the son of John and Ida (Krueger) Barclay. He married Esther Sievert on November 30, 1924 until her passing on October 2, 1982. Carl worked as a farmer. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include one son, James Barclay of Ripon, WI; one daughter, Katherine Penfield of Fond du Lac, WI and one sister, Jessie Schallern of Berlin. He was preceded in death by his wife and brother.
Visitation for Carl will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 1985, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Carl will be held on Thursday, October 31, 1985, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
