Carl Heinz Kielisch, age 74, of Ripon, WI, died Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1926, in Bochum, Germany, the son of Oscar and Emmy (Klempel) Kielisch. He received a B.S. degree from U.W. Madison, and a PhD from Oxford University, England. For 40 years he was a forensic appraiser for Appraisal Group One and ValuPruf Valuation Services. On June 24, 1949, he married Phyllis N. Schaal in Milwaukee. Mr. Kielisch was a member of the Elo Evangelical Church in Pickett. He served in the 5th Army from 1944-46 as Sgt of Field Artillery Direction. He was a member of American Legion Post #43 in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; two daughters, Claudia Dee (Robert) Thom and Melody Ann (Giorgio) Microutsicos; son, Kurt Carl (Jean) Kielisch; grandsons, Jason (Julie) Thoma and Erik and Kaleb Kielisch; granddaughters, Sahnya Thom, Joslyn (Eugene) Callegari, Alicia & Anina Thom, and Heidi Kielisch; great-granddaughters, Madalyn Thom and Tahlia and Calista Callegari; great-grandson, Spencer Thom; sister, Esther Lembck; and brother, Herbert (Anna Mae) Kielisch. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Robert Lembck.
Funeral service for Carl Heinz Kielisch will be Sunday, November 12, 2000, at 3 pm at Elo Evangelical Church in Pickett with Pastor Ray Whitlock officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 pm until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be Monday, November 13, 2000, at 1 pm at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
