Carol Anne Anderson, age 64, formerly of Ripon, WI, died unexpectedly October 1, 1996, in San Diego, CA, where she had resided the past 11 years.
She was born August 14, 1932, in Ripon, a daughter of the late Donovan and Adelaide Bucholz Corliss. She was educated in Ripon and received her Bachelor’s degree in teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Carol had been employed for 27 years as a supervisory contract specialist for the U.S. Navy Civil Service.
She is survived by two children, Tracy Boldig of San Diego and Elizabeth (Richard) Leap of San Marcos, CA; two grandchildren, Donovan and Tamara Leap of San Marcos; one sister, Ruth Helen Yokers of Milwaukee; cousins, G. Robert (Gladys) Gray of Ripon, Dr. John H. (Shirley) Gray of Neenah and David N. (Judith) Gray of Ripon; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for the late Carol Anderson will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 8, 1996, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ripon with Father Robert J.C. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 8 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Memorials will be given to the American Heart Association.
