Carol A. Biffert, age 36, of Markesan, WI, died January 1, 1988, at Waupun Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born February 24, 1951, to Marlin and Esther (Moore) Freitage in Hettinger, ND. She married Jonathan Biffert on June 19, 1971. She lived in Markesan the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and member of Assembly of God Church in Ripon. She was educated in Bowman, ND, and attended Trinity Bible College in Jamestown, ND.
Survivors include her husband; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Freitage of Bowman; two sons, James and Mark, both at home; three daughters, Gloria, Linda and Joy, all at home; two brothers, Rev. Larry Freitag of Minneapolis, MN, and Rev. Leon Freitag of Bowman; and two sisters, bonnie Boreson of Tuson, AZ, and Melody Hitchcock of Denver, CO.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Sunday, January 3, 1988, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Carol will be held on Monday, January 4, 1988, at 2:30 pm at Assembly of God Church in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike, Reverend Omar Kallevig and Reverend Adam Biffert will officiate. Interment will take place at Spencer Lake Memorial Park in Waupaca.
