Carol A. Ferrara, age 77, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Copperleaf Village in Ripon.
Carol was born June 23, 1938, in Harvey, IL, the daughter of John and Mary (Mierzwa) Klein. She graduated from Thornton Township High School. On April 15, 1961, Carol married Joseph Ferrara in Ascension Church in Harvey. She had many talents and worked as a pharmacist assistant, beauty consultant and printing business forms. Carol attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, WI.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Joseph Ferrara of Markesan, WI, formerly of Dolton, IL; two nephews, Michael and Matt; niece, Marcela Klein; grand-nephew, Mike Jr.; and sister-in-law, Paula Klein. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Klein and brother, John Klein Jr.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth St., Green Lake, WI 54941.
Inurnment will take place at Assumption Cemetery and Mausoleum, 19500 S. Cottage Grove Ave., Glenwood, IL 60425 at a later date. A memorial is being established.
