Carol Jean Kapp, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ripon.
Carol was born on September 30, 1942 in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Elmer and Ruth (Zimmerman) Kapp. She graduated from Princeton High School and went on to work at Ripon Foods as a cookie packer. Carol loved to read, enjoyed Country Western music, was a huge Green Bay Packer fan, and had a passion for the color purple. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Carol is survived by her twin brother, Calvin of Princeton, WI; two sisters, Suzanne (Donald) Damerow of Markesan, WI and Kathleen (David) Sprague of Ripon, WI; an aunt; as well as nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruth Kapp.
A private funeral service for Carol will be held at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Sheppard officiating. Interment will take place at Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
