Carol Emily Kesich, age 53, of Ripon, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 4, 2008, with her family at her side.
Carol was born on December 7, 1954, in Waupun, the daughter of Francis and Florence (Elvers) (Hoddinott) Derber. She graduated from Ripon High School, and on September 1, 1973, married Donald Joseph Kesich at Our Saviours Church in Ripon. Carol worked as a drug store pharmacy technician, but in her spare time would go bowling or just simply spend time in her garden. She was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ where she sang in the church choir. Carol loved her dogs and loved to cook, but nothing could compare to the love she had for her family as both a devoted wife and a caring mother to all of her children.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Kesich of Ripon; daughters, Angela Kesich of Winneconne and Sarah Kesich of Ripon; mother, Florence Derber of Ripon; brother, Gerald (Lani) Hoddinott of Madison; mother-in-law, Irene Kesich of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Mary Lynn (Doug) Brzycki of Hartford; brother-in-law, Gordon (Kris) Kesich of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Barbara Hoddinott of Princeton; aunt, Mary Casper of Fond du Lac; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Francis Hoddinott; brother, Gary Hoddinott; uncle, Louis Casper; great niece, Katie Snyder; father-in-law, Emil Kesich; and brother-in-law, Emil Kesich, Jr.
Visitation for Carol E. Kesich will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Funeral service for Carol E. Kesich will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
