Carol Perkins, age 88, of Eldorado, WI, passed away on Monday, December 07, 2009, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, Fond du Lac.
Carol was born on February 26, 1921, in Eldorado, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Lillie (Koeppen) Pfeiffer. On June 28, 1947, Carol married Robert Perkins. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, the Historical Society of Brandon, and volunteered at Waupun Hospital. Carol loved to sew and was an avid Bible reader.
Survivors include her children, one daughter, Janet (Dennis) Bennett of Catawba, NC; three sons, David (Peggy) Perkins of Eldorado, James (Ann) Perkins of Brandon, and Jeffry (Peggy) Perkins of Rosendale; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Perkins in 1999.
Visitation for Carol Perkins will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Friday, December 11, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Funeral Service for Carol Perkins will be held on Friday, December 11, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, with the Reverend Charles R. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Rogersville Cemetery in the Town of Lamartine. Memorials may be given to the Brandon Community Food Pantry, P.O. Box 312 Brandon, WI 53919 and World Hunger through Peace Lutheran, P.O. Box 177 Rosendale, WI 54974.
