Carol Polfuss

September 21, 1935 — September 6, 1996

Carol Polfuss, 60, of Wautoma, died Friday Sept. 6, 1996, at home after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandaughters grow up. She will be truly missed by all.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1935, the daughter of Arthur and Lucille (Hess) Lueptow. She graduated from Ripon High School and had taken numerous courses at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Carol worked as an accountant at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1969 to 1979. She was a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Madison and Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wautoma and the Holy Cross Church in Mesa, AZ. She was involved with numerous organizations.

Carol married Donald Polfuss on Sept. 24, 1955, in Ripon at St. Patrick Catholic Church. They lived in Oshkosh until 1975, and moved to their present home in the Town of Marion outside of Wautoma. They lived in Mesa, AZ during the winter months.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Donald, two sons,
Jeffrey (Karen) Polfuss of Wautoma; James (Holly) Polfuss of
Neenah; one daughter, Julie (Joseph) Cumxnins of Wausau; two
brothers, Arthur (Doty) Lueptow Jr. of Chamblee, GA.; Donald
(Billie) Lueptow of Ripon. Eight grandchildren; Nicole Renee
Poltuss, Danielle Marie Polfuss, Kristina Rae Polfuss, Nicole
Jo Polfuss, Megan Ann Polfuss, Cami Renee Polfuss, Jenna Mae
Cununins, Jacklyn Marie Cummins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A private visitation will be held for Mrs. Carol Polfuss at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday Sept. 9, 1996, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon at 11:00 A.M. for friends and family, with Father John Schmitz of Ripon, Father Phillip and Decon Steve Rocchi of Wautoma officating. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oshkosh.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established.

Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
