Caroline “Carrie” Bonsen, 88, of Wolverton Ave, Ripon, died December 15, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 17, 1901, in Green Lake County to John and Mary Hirsz Duzinske. On July 30, 1925, she married Carl Bonsen. He preceded her in death in 1930.
Mrs. Bonsen attended Ripon High School and Berlin Teachers Normal. She was a public school teacher for many years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon.
Survivors include 1 son, Alan of Ripon; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Jessie Mathweg of Markesan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bonsen will be held Monday evening, December 18, 1989, at 7 P.M., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate.
Friends may call Monday from 5 until the hour of services at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
