Carolyn C. Brink

Carolyn Christine Aldus Brink, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Carolyn was born June 6, 1940 in Hazelcrest, IL, daughter of Paul and Maytie (Crane) Aldus. Carolyn graduated from Ripon High School and attended Ripon College. She married Stanley Lee Brink, August 23, 1958. She was employed by the Ripon Public School system in several capacities, was owner operator with her husband of Brink’s Upholstery, was employed by the Ripon based National Forensic League and was also employed by the American Baptist Center, Green Lake in the Norwegian Bay Book and Gift store for 22 years, managing it from 1983 until her retirement in 2005. Carolyn was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. She was a past member of the United Methodist Women’s Org., Friendship Circle and the Christian Women’s Club also of Ripon.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley; a son, Matthew (Amy) of Philadelphia, PA; two daughters, Rachel (Muma) Makondekwa of Houston, TX and Rebekah (Jonathan) Lopez of Dahlonega, GA; her grandchildren, Zachery and Olivia Brink, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Miriam Makondekwa, and Mordecai (Emma), Isaac (Rachel), Ezra, Lydia, Isabel, Laura, Micah and Jacob Lopez; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Maytie Aldus; and one brother, Paul John Aldus, Jr.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2024 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2024 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her name.
