Carolyn Dorothy King, 68, of 456 Scott St., Green Lake, died Wednesday, September 28, 1988, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
She was born July 12, 1920, in Berlin to Michael and Josephine Piotrowski Schubert. On June 1, 1940, she married James King and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1982.
She was educated in Berlin. Mrs. King had resided in Green Lake the last 46 years and had been a waitress at Moxies and the Coach Lite Inn. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Patricia) Pennington of Elko, NV and Mrs. Charles (Lori) Gross, Jr. of Green Lake; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Star Schubert of Wisconsin and Robert Schubert of Oshkosh; seven sisters, Julia Hayes of Siren, WI, Florence Turner of Plainfield, WI, Marie Hahn of Ripon, Belle Krebs of Rush Lake, Frances Kohnke of Crystal Lake, IL, Anna Pinkowski of Port Charlotte, FL and Margaret Lehman of Berlin. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. William (Sharon) Kieck of Princeton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Friends may call from 3 8:00 pm Friday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 pm.
