Carolyn K. Wiessinger, age 56, of Ripon, WI, died Saturday, March 1, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
She was born on June 15, 1940, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Kathryn Fleck. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and lived in the Ripon area after moving from Berlin in 1988. On January 28, 1993, she married Richard Wiessinger in Fond du Lac, WI. Carolyn worked for Pamida in Ripon until they closed; she worked for TLC, Home Care Givers of Berlin. She enjoyed gardening, rummage sales and collecting items.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Richard L. Wiessinger; mother, Kathryn Fleck of Omro; father-in-law, Robert L. Wiessinger of Ripon; three daughters, Brenda (Fred) Schubert of Berlin, Kelie (Jeff) Block of Berlin, Mae (Tony) Murawski of Kansas; one son, David Bednarek of Oregon, WI; three step-daughters, Robin (Robert) Flaig, Wendy (Rick) Samuelson, Sally (Tim) Hogenmiller; one step-son, Robert A. Wiessinger; two sisters, Doralee (Ray) Smithson of Las Vegas, NV, Marlene (Don) Dettloft of Omro, WI; two brothers, Ken Schoenick of Kansas, Don (Dawn) Schoenick of Oshkosh, WI; and a special friend, Dee (Jack) Hartman of Berlin, WI; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Bo and Sneakers. She is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Dorothy Wiessinger.
Funeral service for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at 11 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend James Mohr officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 4, from 10 am until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial has been established in Carolyn’s name.
