Carroll Lindeman

Carroll E. Lindeman, age 79, of Brandon, WI, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Carroll was born on October 5, 1933, in Brandon, the son of William and Esther (Schwandt) Lindeman. He graduated from Brandon High School and on June 25, 1961, he married Avis Kirst at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Markesan. Carroll worked as a farmer for 35 years and a Dairy Plant Representative for 12 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon and also the Fond du Lac Holstein Association. Carroll enjoyed fishing and hunting and took special joy in being with all his family, especially his grandchildren. In his retirement years, he spent many hours in his woodworking shop and took great pleasure in making items as gifts for his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Avis Lindeman of Brandon, WI; three daughters, Julie (James) Neujahr of Appleton, WI, Karen (Kevin) Riley of DeForest, WI and Jeaneen (James) Datka of Bayside, WI; one son, Pastor Loren (Angie) Lindeman of Waterford, WI; twelve grandchildren, Joel Neujahr of Shaoxing, China, Jonathan Neujahr of Waukesha, WI, Joshua and Johanna Neujahr both of Appleton, WI, Nathan and Megan Riley of DeForest, WI, Katie, John and Thomas Datka all of Bayside, WI and Madison, India and Kennedy Lindeman all of Waterford, WI and one brother, Lyle (Phyllis) Lindeman of Ripon, WI. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Visitation for Carroll will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 9 – 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Carroll will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
