Carroll P. (Sonny) Reinsch, age 72, passed away on October 23, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital in Ripon, WI.
Carroll was born on December 7, 1914 in Ripon, WI, the son of Emil and Marie (Fochs) Reinsch. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1933. Carroll was married on April, 22 1935, to Lutgarde Luehrs in Milwaukee, WI. He was co-owner with Mike and Emil of Fox River Glove & Fox River Outlet of Ripon. Carroll was a devote member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church; past Alter Boy and Usher; Catholic Knights. He was past owner of City Lunch Room and was an avid bowler in Ripon for many years.
Carroll is survived by his wife, Lu; sons, Michael Reinsch of Ripon and John Reinsch of Madison, WI; daughter, Patty (Stephen) Gruetzmacher of Ripon; father, Emil of Ripon; sister, Beverly Sather of Waupaca, and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie and one sister.
Visitation for Carroll will be held from 3-8:00 pm, Sunday, October 25, 1987, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral in Ripon.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Monday, October 26, 1987, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon, with Reverend William Toelle officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
