Catherine Lampe

Catherine “Casey” R. Lampe (nee Campbell), age 98, formerly of Ripon, passed into eternal life on March 14, 2004, at the Christian Nursing Home in Waupun.
She was born December 22, 1905, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Bernard and Catherine (Scanlon) Campbell. She graduated from the University Teaching School in Milwaukee, and was a retired school teacher. A lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, she was loved by many friends and family.
She is survived by her children, John F. Lampe of Ventura, CA and Catherine B. Souhrada of Milwaukee; grandchildren, William Souhrada and fiancée Autumn Shaw of Green Bay, Jonathan (Melissa) Lampe of Stoughton, Benjamin Lampe of Crystal Lake, IL, Alexander Lampe of Woodstock, IL, and Elizabeth Lampe of Woodstock, IL; 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Patrick Lampe; and her sister, Agnes Hayes of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Otto” Lampe, and brothers and sisters, Tom Campbell, Mary Helen O’Malley, Bernard Campbell, John Campbell, Pat Campbell, Rachel Campbell, Sarah Ann Low and Joanne Skidmore.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on March 16, 2004 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Robert A. Fictum officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
