Cecelia Radke, age 96, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Michalenes Care Center, Ripon.
Cecelia was born in Easton, Kansas on July 21, 1906, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Hall) Sebroff. After completing her education she moved to Leavenworth, Kansas where she worked at what was the Soldiers Home, now the Dwight D. Eisenhower Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She married Reinhard W. Radke on June 4, 1938. They had a farm on Douglas Street in Ripon until their retirement in 1974. At this time they moved to 53 Wa Wa Street. Reinhard preceded her in death on November 7, 1995. Cecelia was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ and the Home Makers Club.
Survivors include a sister, Hulda Geis of Fond du Lac; a sister-in-law Lillie Towne, Ripon; and a brother-in-law, Wilbert Radke, Ripon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and a brother.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. Rev. Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, City of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon, or Hospice Hope/Central WI Branch, 114 N. Pearl St. Berlin, WI.
