Cecelia (Lii) F. Owens, 70, of Green Lake, WI, died Sunday, January 14, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center.


She was born October 10, 1925, in Royalton, IL, the daughter of the late Chester and Victoria (Bolonski) Bogdajewicz. Lil was a graduate of Royalton High School. On April 19, 1947 she married Jack Owens in Royalton, IL, they lived in Bensenville, IL for 36 years before moving to Green Lake in 1987. Lil was a housewife, loving wife—mother, and grandmother, as well as a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, and the Women’s V.F.W. Auxiliary of Bensenville, IL.

Lil is survived by her husband, Jack; 2 sons, Jack Owens Jr. of West Chicago, IL., James (Susan) Owens of Lake In The Hills, IL.; 2 daughters, Janice (Fred) Guerrero of Westchester, IL., Joyce (Rick) Janowski of Racine, WI.; a daughter—in—law Susan Owens of Phoenix, AZ.; 3 grandsons, Jack Owens III, Michael and David Janowski; 4 brothers, Walter, Chester, Edward and Stanley Bogdajewicz. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4—7 P.M. on Monday January 15, 1996 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. John R. Dowd reciting prayers at 7 P.M.
Friends may also call Tuesday January 16, 1996 from 4-9 P.M. at the Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL. 60004. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday January 17, 1996 at St. James Catholic Church at 820 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Entombment will be at St. Michaels Cemetery & Mausoleum in Arlington Heights, IL.
