Chad D. Unverrich, age 39, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Chad was born in Germany on October 3, 1983, son of Carl and Diane (Henzig) Unverrich. After moving to the U.S., Chad lived most of his life in the state of Washington, moving to Ripon about two years ago. He attended Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma, WA, and worked as a diesel mechanic. On June 15, 2013 he married Nicole Bertrang, although they grew up as neighbors and were together since 2005. Chad had a passion for building race cars and trucks, and loved riding dirt bikes and quads. He also enjoyed building lego sets with his daughters in his free time. Most of all he cherished time with his wife and girls, and would take any opportunity to spend time camping and fishing with his family.
Chad is survived by his wife, Nicole Unverrich of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Izzy, Lilly, and Kaylee Unverrich all of Ripon, WI; his father, Carl (Jody) Unverrich of Ripon, WI, his mother, Diane Unverrich of Port Orchard, WA; a sister, Donna also of Port Orchard, WA; his maternal and paternal grandmothers; in-laws, Kristin and David Wilbur of Tacoma, WA; sisters-in-law, Haley Wilbur and Michelle Bertrang also of Tacoma, WA; brother-in-law, Tyler Wilbur of North Pole, AK; and many very close friends who meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wayne Bertrang; and maternal and paternal grandfathers.
A Celebration of Life “Chad-Style,” with a BBQ and bonfire, will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his farm in Nepeuskun, 590 County Rd E, Ripon, WI 54971 beginning at 12:00 pm. A memorial is being established in his name.
