Charlene Ann Roeming, age 65 of Green Lake, WI. passed away Monday morning, May 1, 2006, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1940 in Oshkosh, a daughter to Gilbert and Jeanette (Steinert) Grabner. Charlene graduated from Waupun High School in 1958, and then attended St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du lac, where she received training to become an L.P.N. On December 23, 1961, she married Roy Roeming in Waupun, WI.
She worked at Bethel Home of Oshkosh retiring in 1997, and enjoyed her retirement years while working at Juliette Manor in Berlin. Charlene belonged to the Federated Church of Green Lake and volunteered her time at the church library.
She is survived by her husband, Roy of Green Lake; 3 sons, Mark (Cindy) Roeming, Oshkosh, Matthew (Janet) Roeming, West Bend, and Michael (Julie) Roeming, Winneconne; one daughter, Mary Charlier, Green Lake; 11 grandchildren, Cassidy, Landon, Carmen, Charlie, Paul, Samantha, Jenna, Amanda, Jessica, Airelle, and Emily; 1 sister, Kathy Faker, Oshkosh; niece, Jennifer (Robert) Kujawa, Madison, and many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Larry.
A time of gathering for Charlene Ann Roeming will be held at The Federated Church of Green Lake on Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Memorial service for Charlene Ann Roeming will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2006 at The Federated Church of Green Lake, with the Rev. Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Christian Education and Library fund at the Federated Church of Green Lake.
