Charles F. Klawitter, 54, 44 Parkway Terrace, Ripon, died Tuesday, July 5, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 12, 1934, in Ripon to Matt and Margaret Lambert Klawitter. On September 9, 1961, he married Arlene Hanneman.
Mr. Klawitter was educated in Ripon. He was a painter at Mercury Marine and had lived in Ripon since 1971. He served in the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife; mother, Margaret Prellwitz of Fairwater; two brothers, Gordon of Fairwater and Clifford of Wittenberg; two sisters, Lorraine Jacobitz of Fond du Lac and Betty Plath of Fairwater and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 1:30 until the hour of services Friday, July 8, 1988, at the Shrine of Rest Chapel at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday at the Shrine of Rest Chapel with the Reverend Albert Grender officiating. Entombment will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
