Charles A. Kuehn, age 85, of Ripon, WI passed away on Monday, June 4, 1956 at his home in Ripon.
Charles was born in Princeton, WI on October 30, 1870, the son of William and Wilhelmine (Fadhka) Kuehn. He was educated in Princeton and farmed in the Ripon area. Charles has resided in Princeton, Brandon, and the last 50 years in Ripon. On October 31, 1894 he married Hulda Bandt in Princeton. Charles was a member of the Evangelical United Bretheran Church of Ripon.
Charles is survived by his four sons, Fred, Ben, Clarence all of Ripon, WI and Walter of Waupun, WI; five daughters, Agnes Kuehn, Mrs. Carl Willie, Mrs. Arden Page, Mrs Orville Tavs all of Ripon, WI and Mrs. Lyle Rispalge of Brandon, WI; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William of Nielsville, WI and Henry of Milwaukee, WI; and a sister, Mrs. William A'Bell of Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hulda Kuehn; an infant daughter; and three sisters.
Visitation for Charles will be held from 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 1956 until 11:00 am on Thursday, June 7, 1956 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 1956 at Evangelical United Bretheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Charles will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 1956 at Evangelical United Bretheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend Charles A. Bender officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
