Mr. Charles I. Markham, 81, of the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake County, died Wednesday morning, August 16, 1989, at home.
He was born September 1, 1907, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Burt and Tilda Docken Markham. On August 3, 1958, he married Thelma Hair.
Mr. Markham had been a chef in Oshkosh, Horicon and Green Lake. He lived in Green Lake the last 15 years.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Robert Bruce of Green Bay; one daughter, Marilyn Conradt of Shiocton; five grandchildren; one brother, Winston Markham of Sumner, Iowa and one sister, Elaine Sweeney of Kensington, Maryland.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 pm at The Federated Church of Green Lake. The Reverend Dwight Bastian will officiate and interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
