Charles Butch Eugene Pamenter, Jr. 76, of Ripon, WI, died Friday morning, June 28, 2001, Ripon Medical Center.
He was born May 22, 1925, in the Town of Brooklyn, a son to Charles E. and Nina (Douglas) Pamenter, Sr. He attended Bluffton School and graduated from Green Lake High School. On January 31, 1945, he married Marjorie Smasal in Berlin. As well as farming, Butch had been a house building contractor. Mr. Pamenter was a charter member of the Federated Church in Green Lake, and was very involved in his church. He also had been President and Sexton of the Bluffton Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Ripon; two sons, Dennis Pamenter of Green Lake and Daniel (Lori) Pamenter of Ripon; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae (Ervin) Degener; brothers, Clayton (Donna) Pamenter and Robert Pamenter; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Eugene in 1993 and parents.
Funeral service for Charles Pamenter will be at 4 pm on Sunday, July 1, 2001, at the Federated Church of Green Lake with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 2 pm until the time of service. Interment will be in Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
