Charles Stuarte

Charles C. Stuarte, age 76, of the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 1990, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.

He was born January 26, 1914, in Chicago, IL, the son of Vincent and Veronica (Barnas) Sebula. Charles was educated in Chicago, and on June 21, 1941 he was united in marriage to Jeanette Leskowicz. He worked as a Wholesaler for C.K. Dist. Company. Charles was also Co-owner of Sheridan Lanes Bowling Alley in Kenosha and former employee of Johnson Motors, Waukegan. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake; and he organized the Green Lake Senior Citizens bowling league. Charles served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Chief Storekeeper.

He is survived by his wife; one sister, Irene Paricka of Kenosha and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 Friday, June 1, 1990, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 1990 at St. Marks Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI. Interment will be at St. Casamir Cemetery in Kenosha. A memorial has been established.
