Chesley F. Luchinski, 68, of Ripon, died Saturday January 20, 1996, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh.
He was born on November 4, 1927 the son of Joseph and Mabel Schrader Luchinski, in Nepeuskun Township, WI. While serving in the Army during the Korean War he delivered supplies behind the enemy lines, receiving a Honorable Discharge. He lived in the Milwaukee area until 1969 when he moved to the Ripon and Berlin Area where he was a truck driver and also cut scrap iron for for many years. Chesley also owned his own lawn mowing service and worked the last few years at the Ripon Service Center.
Chesley is survived by his children James (Jamie) Luchinski of Berlin, Dawn (Richard) OKon of Lohrville, Julie (Scott Sr) Schmude of Berlin; five grandsons, Levi, Cody, Nathaniel, Scott Jr., Jon; one sister, Joyce (Leohard) Deibert; one brother, Gerald (Donna) Luchinski. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers who died at birth.
Funeral services for Chesley will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 1996, at 6 P.M. at the ButzinMarchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
The family will be receiving friends from 4 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Rev. James D. Mohr will officiate and interment will be in the Bush Cemetery, Town of Berlin.
