Christine Mead

Christine E. “Thumper” Mead, age 65, of Campbellsport, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.

Thumper was born in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Milton and Madeleine (Doerflinger) Pardun. She worked as a bartender and also worked as a care taker. Thumper loved training and riding her horses. She enjoyed helping her dad train the dogs for the K-9 Unit and also enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Jim Mead, Milwaukee, WI; daughter, Vanessa Viljevac, Dundee, WI; two grandsons, Alexander Zimmerman, Dundee, WI, and Malachi Karnitz, Dundee, WI; brothers, Ray Pardun of California, and Randy Pardun, New Holstein, WI; sister, Kathy Hartmen, Milwaukee, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Thumper’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation has taken place. A memorial has been established in her name.
