Clara J. Nimmer, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 3, 1995, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
She was born on April 15, 1904, in Ripon, a daughter of Henry and Wilhemina Tetzlaff Jess. She was educated in Ripon. In 1925, she married Roland “Peanuts” Nimmer. Clara was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon and honorary member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Ripon.
She is survived by one brother, Lawrence Jess of Ripon; nieces and nephews, Fred (Vera) Jess of IL, Eugene (Lorraine) Jess, Margaret (Cal) Schieler and Jim Jess all of Ripon; several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral service for Clara J. Nimmer will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 6 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Richard Collier will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in her name.
