Clarence Francis Hablewitz, age 43, of Ripon, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, August 5, 2001, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah as a result of a drowning accident.
He was born September 24, 1957, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the son of Ray and Nobuko (Koyamma) Hablewitz. After graduating from Ripon High School, he received a business degree from UW Oshkosh. Clarence was a car salesman at Stumpf Ford of Appleton.
Survivors include his daughter, Emily Hablewitz and Emilys mother, Patricia Hablewitz, both of Oshkosh; his father Ray Hablewitz of Ripon; 2 sisters, Betty Buchanan of Las Vegas, NV and Rose (John) Stanch of Lodi; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and 2 uncles, Roy and Edward Hablewitz.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2001, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
