Clarence Richard Keplin, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 1993, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
He was born December 26, 1925, in Ripon, the son of William and Emma (Steinke) Keplin. He attended Ripon Public Schools. On June 2, 1951 he married Avice Lehman. Mr. Keplin farmed all of his life and was a past member of the Fond du Lac County Farm Bureau and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Ripon. Clarence was a blood donor and had given 91 pints.
In addition to his wife, Avice, he is survived by two sons, Jeffrey of Waupun and Joel (Laura) of Ripon; two daughters, Janet (Frank) Conidi of Itasca, IL and Judy (Donald) Borchardt of Sheboygan; one grandson; two step-grandchildren; one brother, Aldon Keplin of Fairwater; and three sisters, Elsie Krueger of Ripon, Erna Weich of Green Lake, and Dolores Ingersoll of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services for Clarence Keplin will be held Wednesday, January 13, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ripon, Assembly of God Church. The Reverend Donald Dieke will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at the church.
