Mr. Clarence K. Krentz Sr., age 79, of 215 Union St. Ripon, died Sunday, December 11, 1988, at Omro Care Center in Omro.
He was born February 23, 1909, in Green Lake County, to John and Ella (Haase) Krentz. In August 1932, he married Florence Malson who preceded him in death in December of 1969. On January 30, 1971, he married Mildred Epstein.
Mr. Krentz was educated in Green Lake County. He was a machinist at Speed Queen for 44 years. He retired in 1974. He had lived in the Ripon area all of his life. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and a member of the Silver Jubilee Club of Speed Queen.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Clarence Krentz, Jr. and one daughter, Mrs. Marlene Zanto both of Ripon; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one brother, John Krentz of Ripon.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 1988, at 1:30 pm at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
