Clarence Schmoldt

Clarence E. Schmoldt, age 89, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Friday, January 20, 1984 at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon, WI.
Clarence was born on June 18, 1894 in Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Schwandt) Schmoldt. He was a graduate of Town Line School in 1910, and a graduate of University of Wisconsin College of Agriculture 1916 and attended Highland Park College in Des Moines, IA. Clarence was a farmer most of his life, living in the Rosendale, and retired in 1960. On May 27, 1945 he married Norma Horn. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, a member of Rosendale Grange and past Treasurer. Clarence was also a farm agent selling binder twine and fertilizer.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Norma Schmoldt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma Schmoldt; a brother and a sister.
Visitation for Clarence will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI, and again on Tuesday, January 24, 1984 from 10:00 am until the hour of services at the church.
Funeral services for Clarence will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 24, 1984 at Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, with Reverend Bruce Buslaff officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale, WI. A memorial has been established for the church in his name.
