Cody Thomas Baker, age 22, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident.
Cody was born on January 26, 1989, in Fond du Lac, the son of Scott Baker and Kathy Hielsberg. He graduated from Ripon High School. Cody was employed at Ripon Ford-Mercury. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature, spending time with his daughter, family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy (special friend, Tom) Hielsberg of Green Lake, WI; father, Scott Baker of Markesan, WI; daughter, Kaylynn Baker of Green Lake, WI; girlfriend, Alyssia Gasper of Green Lake, WI; one brother, Bryon Baker of Markesan, WI; maternal grandparents, Dale and Francine Weatherwax of Cambria, WI and Tom Dolske, Sr. of Princeton, WI; paternal grandfather, David Baker of Markesan, WI; aunt, Jodi (Joel) Plagenz and their children, Taylor and Ty of Markesan, WI; uncle, Tom (special friend, Kim) Dolske, Jr and many more family and friends. Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Baker; great grandparents, Raymond and Hazel Whitney, Norma and Louis Hielsberg, Phillip and Amanda Baker, Jane and John McRobert.
Visitation for Cody Baker will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011, from
4 – 7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, and again on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 10 - 11 am at Messiah Lutheran Church 500 Mayparty Dr. Ripon.
Funeral services for Cody Baker will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11 am, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Bryan Fritsch will be officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials will be accepted towards his daughter Kaylynn’s college fund.
