Constance "Connie" Birkrem

Constance “Connie” Birkrem, age 48, 542 Newbury St. Ripon, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26, 2003, with her family by her side.
Connie was born December 18, 1954, in Madison, WI, a daughter of Lois (Lindberg) and David Greenwood Anderson. She attended Lake Mills schools and graduated from MATC, Madison as a Registered Nurse. On October 12, 1974, she married Warren Birkrem and enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. They resided in Lake Mills, WI until relocating to Ripon in 1992. Connie was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Lake Mills and Wisconsin Right to Life.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Birkrem of Ripon; Sons, Rob, Mike and Christian Birkrem and daughter, Laura Birkrem, all of Ripon; Her mother, Lois Anderson of Lake Mills; her brother, David (Amy) Anderson of Cambridge, WI; her mother and father-in-law, Wilma and Robert Birkrem of Manitowish Waters, WI. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and the family dog “Peaches”. She was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2003 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI. Services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 307 W. Madison St. Lake Mills, WI. Rev. Debora Hillgartner-Badder will officiate. Interment will be at Rock Lake Cemetery, Lake Mills, WI. A memorial has been established in her name.
