Cora Sandleback

Cora Sandleback, age 86, formerly of Green Lake, died early Friday morning, August 17, 2001, at Michalene’s in Ripon.
She was born on October 29, 1914, in Beetown, WI, the daughter of Fred and Leah (Peterson) Mayne. She graduated from Lancaster High School. On August 20, 1931, she married Earl F. Sandleback at Galena, IL.
Mrs. Saridleback was a charter member of the Federated Church of Green Lake. She was an active member of the Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors of America and the Friday Club. Weekly card games were her enjoyment.
She is survived by a son, Murray (Ann) Sandleback of Green Lake; a daughter, Sharon (Gerald) Hallman of North Fond du Lac; a daughter-in-law, Marion Sand leback of Green Lake; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her parents; husband, Earl; and one son, Eugene preceded her in death.
Funeral service for Cora Sandleback will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2001, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorials to Hospice Hope, Central WI Branch.
