Dale W. Long, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, November 12, 1984, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Dale was born on May 1, 1906, in Markesan, WI, the son of Henry and May (Jones) Long. He married Nora Sullivan on July 18, 1933. Dale worked in maintenance at Ripon College. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church and of Modern Woodmen.
Survivors include his wife, Nora; three sons, James, Jerry and David all of Ripon, WI; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two brothers, Wayne of Neenah, WI and Glenn of Hazelhurst, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation for Dale will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 1984, from 3 – 5:00 pm and 7 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Rosary at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Service for Dale will be held on Thursday, November 15, 1984, at 10:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Reverend William Toelle officiating. Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn.
