Daneen “Dani” Joyce Davis, age 70, of 529 Eureka St, Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Fountain View Care Center, Ripon.
Dani was born on September 20, 1935 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Elizabeth (Bauer) McDaniel. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School and then went onto Greenville College, where she received a BA degree in Elementary education. On September 15, 1956 she married The Reverend Peter C. Davis in Beaver Dam. Daneen was an Elementary teacher and worked for Tiry’s Sew and Vac of Ripon for many years. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church of Fond du Lac, WI.
Survivors include, daughter, Kimberly (Larry) Feder of Green Lake; son, Kent (DeeAnn) Davis of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Katelyn and Eric Feder and Alexis and Ian Davis; brother, George (Sharon) Smith of Nevada; sisters, Betty (Glenn) Terlinden of Pewaukee, WI and Colleen Frei of Beaver Dam; brother-in-law, Ray (Doris) Davis of Washington, WI and many nieces and nephews. Daneen is preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter, on February 13, 2002 and brother-in-law, Gary Frei.
Visitation for Daneen Davis will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 11:30- 2:00 p.m. at Grace Reformed Church, 163 E. 18th St. Fond du Lac.
Funeral Service for Daneen Davis will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Reformed Church, with Pastor Barry Vegter officiating. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
