Daniel "Dan" J. Baurichter

Daniel “Dan” J. Baurichter, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.

Dan was born on August 5, 1946 in North Fond du Lac, WI, son of Donald and Catherine (Yust) Baurichter. He graduated from Omro High School and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Korea and Vietnam. Following his military service, Dan worked in construction for many years, and owned a farm in Ripon. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time working on any project on the farm. Dan loved going to auctions, watching Antique Roadshow, and was a collector of pretty much anything. 

Dan is survived by his children, Angela Baurichter of Ripon, Nicholas (significant other, Heather Behm) of Ripon, Clinton (Carlene) Baurichter of Onalaska, WI; grandchildren, Jenna, Trinity, Jace, Hudson, Kylie, Keaira, Aubrey, Greyson; great-grandson, Kye Daniel; three sisters, Kathy Pugh, Barb (Jim) Bindl, Elizabeth Baurichter, two brothers, Greg and Michael Baurichter; and many nieces; nephews; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Catherine Baurichter.

Visitation for Dan will be held from 11:00 - 1:00 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A prayer service for Dan will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Oshkosh, WI, with a Final Salute and full military honors. A memorial is being established in his name.
