Daniel Ray Kovalaske, age 49, of Ripon, died Friday, May 28, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 18, 1950, in Ripon, the son of Norman and Gladys (Lueck) Kovalaske. He was educated in Ripon and lived in Ripon most of his life. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Egbert Excavating Inc. of Green Lake.
Daniel served his country in the Army from 19681971. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars SchultzKlemp-Wentland Post #5278.
Daniel is survived by a daughter, DeAna Kovalaske of Ripon and her mother Denise Kovalaske of Rosendale, and a stepson Dan Schultz of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by his mother, Gladys Kovalaske of Ripon; a sister, Sharon Finley of Ripon; four brothers, Donald (Barbara) Kovalaske of Muckwanago, Dennis (Mary) Kovalaske, Darwin Kovalaske and Dale Kovalaske, all of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother David.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 1999, from 1 until 3 PM at the ButzinMarchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Funeral services will be at 3 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Burnard officiating. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established.
