Daphne H. MacNeill, 97, 50 Wolverton Ave., Ripon, passed away June 26, 1988, at Parkview Nursing Home, Ripon.
She was born February 1, 1891, in Oshkosh, to T. Grant and Hannah Williams Hurlbutt. On March 2, 1918, she married William J. MacNeill who preceded her in death on April 17, 1986.
Mrs. MacNeill had been a housewife and had resided in Green Lake the last 28 years. She was Founder of Wauwatosa Granites Womens Curling Club; Active Golfer at Blue Mound and Tuscumbia Country Clubs and a Member of the Dartford Educational Society.
Survivors include two sons, Samuel G. MacNeill of Wauwatosa and C. William MacNeill of Green Lake; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 1, 1988, at 11:00 am at The Federated Church of Green Lake. The Reverend Dwight R. Bastian will officiate. Inurnment will take place in Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee.
A memorial has been established for the Dartford Educational Society Scholarship Fund.
