Darvin "Dobbie" Donald Hoch

Darvin “Dobbie” Donald Hoch, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away, on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Dobbie was born February 13, 1925, Ripon, WI, the son of August and Laura (Pinno) Hoch. He graduated from Rosendale Union Free High School in 1943. On September 4, 1954, he married Joyce M. Schraven. Dobbie retired from Speed Queen in Ripon and went on to farm for Ronnie Goedon and Bud Hoch. He was also a sideline mason and brick worker. Dobbie was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved to watch baseball and softball. He liked to play cards and always had a coin to flip.
Survivors include his sons, Scott Hoch and Kevin (Vicki) Hoch all of Ripon; grandchildren, Nickolas of Ripon, WI, Emily of Milwaukee, WI, Kennedy and Karrington also of Ripon, WI. Darvin is also survived by his sister, Dorraine Wallendal of Waupun, He is preceded in death by his parents August and Laura Hoch and his wife, Joyce Hoch, who passed in 2011.
Visitation for Darvin “Dobbie” Donald Hoch will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015, from 3 – 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Darvin “Dobbie” Donald Hoch will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Darvin’s grandson, Nickolas Hoch will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery in The Village of Rosendale. A memorial is being established.
