David Sharp

David W. Sharp, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with his family by his side.
David was born on November 25, 1938, in Ripon, the son of Louis Edward and Wilma (Kinas) Sharp. He graduated from Ripon High School and went on to further his education at the University of WI Madison where he was a involved in the Chi Psi Fraternity. David became an Engineer and worked at National Rivet in Waupun for 30 years. He married Bonnie L. Nellis in Ripon. David was a member of Investments Unlimited and a life-long EAA member. He received his Professional Engineer Certification and was a private pilot for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Meridith (Bill) Stephens and their sons, Westley and Aaron Stephens all of Florida; one son, Kevan (Julie) Sharp of Port Washington, WI; and three brothers, Thomas (Jeanne) Sharp of Ripon, WI, Samuel (Janice) Sharp of Minnesota and Alan (Susan) Sharp of Colorado. David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie and step-mother, Leona Sharp.
Visitation for David will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012, from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for David will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Memorials may be directed to Spondylitis Association of America, P.O. Box 5872, Sherman Oaks, CA, 91413.
