David A. Steffen, age 49, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005, at his home at N7744 Radio Road, Town of Ripon.
He was born May 3, 1956, in Fond du Lac, the son of Alfred J. and Margaret (Steen) Steffen. He graduated from high school and attended two years at UW Fond du Lac Extension in Fond du Lac. Dave had been in sales for Midwest Real Estate. Dave lived for his children, and loved spending time with family and friends at the family cottage on Green Lake. Dave’s generosity towards the ones he loved was greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.
Survivors include his two sons, Nate and J.J. Steffen, both of Ripon, and their mother Ann; three sisters, Mary (David) Williams of Fond du Lac, Martha (Michael) Schattschneider of Markesan and Lynda (Charlie) Clark of Palo Alto, CA; seven nephews, Chris, Ben, Josh, Andy, Arik, Elliot and Kyle; and two nieces, Stephanie and Erin. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Margaret Steffen, and brother, John Steffen.
Funeral service for Dave Steffen will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2005, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Friends may call Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
