David Street

David Street, age 67, of Green Lake, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010, at Lakeshore Manor in Oshkosh, WI, where he had resided for the past fifteen months.

David was born to Fred and Mae (Becraft) Street on December 29, 1942. He resided in the home of his foster parents, Fred and Grace Voeltner from age 5 until his marriage to Judith Dreger on August 5, 1967. David was employed with Alliance Laundry Systems for thirty eight years, retiring in April of 2005. He served in the United States Army from 1964-1966, and was an avid gardener and basketweaver. He enjoyed spending time in Arizona.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Judith; children, Stephanie (David) Osheim of Princeton and Brian (Angela Schieler) Street of Sitka, AK. He is further survived by a very special foster brother, Jerry Lueth; four brothers, Edwin, Raymond, Clifford and Tex, all of WI; six sisters, Roselet, Ruth, Regina, Beverly and Charlotte, all of WI and Beulah and Sylvia of MO; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Street and Lieselotte Dehaut, both of AZ, along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Street; sister, Rosezella Grenda and his foster parents and parents.

Visitation for David Street will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010, from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for David Street will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez will officiate. Interment will be held at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn.
