David Edwin Teela, age 57, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 1957, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
David was born May 6, 1899, in Brandon, WI, the son of William John and Ella (Nest) Teela. He was educated in Brandon public schools and was the owner of Vet's Cab and Ambulance Service. On September 26, 1923, David married Rosabelle Bilderback. He was a member of the Eagles and the Ripon Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, five sons, Robert, Dean, and Jack of Ripon, William, who is in the Air Force and Gerald of Provo, Utah; four daughters, Mrs. Gerhardt Kelm of Green Lake, Mrs. ellis Lavine of Milwaukee, Miss Beverly Teela of Ripon and Mrs. Donald Werdin of Milwuakee; one granddaughter and four grandsons; one brother, Leroy Teela of Oshkosh and one sister, Mrs. Theodore Weiss of Race. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers and one granddaughter.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 2, 1957, after 7:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for David will be held on Thursday, April 4, 1957, at 1:30 pm at The Methodist Church in Ripon with The Reverend Douglas Anderson officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
