Dawn M. Moore, age 43, Ripon, is at peace with her heavenly Father after a sudden death on Monday, November 13, 2006.
She was born in Ripon on April 9, 1963, daughter of Norman and Orleen (Klingbeil) Belau. Dawn was a graduate of Ripon High School and Marian College where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She excelled in a 20-year career as an administrative RN, beginning at All About Life in Fond du Lac as Director of Nursing and later working as Regional Quality Assurance Director in Seattle, Washington. Currently she was the District Director of Clinical Operations (Wisconsin region) for Kindred Health Care.
Dawn was highly respected in her position and appreciated for her intelligence and decision-making skills. She was always looking for quality of life for everyone, whether it was staff or residents.
Family and friends relied on her vast medical knowledge, but more importantly on her ability and willingness to be there for others in time of stress and transition.
Dawn’s greatest joy in life came four years ago with the birth of her son Carter. As the loving mother of Carter, Dawn left this earth prematurely and unexpectedly. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends who enjoyed her winning smile, her ability to laugh at the little things that bother others, and the high regard she held for people in all walks of life.
She is survived by her son Carter and husband Kevin; sister Kay Zinecker, Green Lake; brother Barrie (Debby) Belau; and sister-in-law Bev Belau (special friend Dale) all of Ripon. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Darren (Connie) Zinecker, Princeton; Jaime (Kim) Zinecker, Saxville; Jill (Tom) Auchtung, Ripon; Angie (Mitch) Beuthin, Ripon; Clint (special friend Carrie) Belau, Seattle, Washington; Mandy (special friend Jeremy) Belau, Minneapolis; Stephanie (Bill) Schlehlein; Heather (Brock) Stellmacher, all of Ripon and 13 great nieces and nephews.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Chris Belau and brother-in-law William Zinecker.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the church.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 at Emmanuel Methodist Church, Ripon with the Rev. Paul Nulton officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Reeds Cornors Cemetery, Town of Metomen.
Memorials may be given in memory of Dawn for her son Carter Moore, at the M&I Bank, 333 Blackburn Street, Ripon, WI 54971
