Dean Wickman

Dean A. Wickman, age 60, of W2035 Taylor Lee Lane, Green Lake, Town of Brooklyn, died Thursday, December 5, 2002 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born August 19, 1942, in Manitowoc, a son to LeRoy and Viola (Anderson) Wickman. He graduated from Waupun High School, attended the UW-Madison, and received an Industrial Engineering Degree in 1966 from UW-Stout in Menomonie. Dean had worked at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac for 34 years where he was a Processing and Manufacturing Engineer until the time of his death. On July 25, 1980, he married Patricia Mocco nee Molter in Green Lake. He was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Green Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of Green Lake; children, Randall (Lisa) Wickman of Leavenworth, KS, Bethany (Daniel) Dengel of Hartford, Charles Mocco of Janesville and special friend, Thomas Scheid, Ronda (Jerry) Nolan of Port Washington and Samantha (Jay) Mocco-Westhuis of Waupun; 5 grandchildren, Max, Brody, Madison, Keenan and Conrad; his mother, Viola Wickman of Waupun; brothers, Richard (Nargis) Wickman of SC and David (Peggy) Wickman of CT; and sisters-in-law, Florence (Paul) Ebert of Rhinelander and Judy (Max) Galler of Waupun. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his first wife, Susan Michael of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his father; mother & father-in-law, Andrew and Edith Molter; brother & sister-in-law, Peter and Juliet Molter; and nephew, Mark Galler.

Funeral service for Dean A. Wickman will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2002, at Peace Evangelical Lutheran in Green Lake with Rev. Rodney Dietsche officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, December 8 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Interment will be in Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Memorials may be given in his name to the Central WI Cancer Program in Fond du Lac.
