Dela L. Daehn, 90 years old, Ripon, died Monday, February 6, 1995, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon where she has resided the last 6 years.
She was born January 18, 1905, in the Town of Metomen, a daughter to the late William and Augusta Krueger Radke. She was educated in Holmes School, Town of Metomen. On December 27, 1925, she married Herbert Daehn. They made their home at 803 Metomen St., Ripon where Dela was a housewife. Herb passed away on October 29, 1968. Dela was a lifelong member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Betty (Patrick) Putzi of Bethesda, MD, Lois Paganis of Tulsa, OK ands Fran (Bud) Nitzke of Ripon; 8 grandchildren, Jon (Gail) Sikora, Susan (Patrick) Taylor, David Putzi, George (Lona) Paganis, John (Karen) Paganis, Pam (Marc) Short, Jeff Nitzke and his fiancee Brenda Biesenthal, and Jamie Nitzke and his fiancee Lesa Schwark; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Clara Wilke of Brandon and Elda Kalwitz of Milwaukee. Tn addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, and 2 brothers, Walter and Fred Radke.
Funeral services for Dela L. Daehn will be 11 A.M. Friday at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon. The Rev. Eric Burnard will officiate and interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon. The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until the time of the service
